  Arak is a very known type of liquor that people drink in Israel. Arak can be found in almost every Israeli club or bar. A lot of young people like drinking Arak at clubs and bars. Tubi 60 is one of the strongest liquors that is drunk in Israel.  This liquor originates from a very holy place in Israel called Haifa. The flavor of the liquor is lemon and herb. The drink is so strong some people compare it to the effect of the ecstasy. Sachlav is not an alcoholic drink but is very known in Israel. It is thick, milk-based served hot, and is topped with pistachios, grated coconut, and raisins. It is very popular in Israel, but also very popular in many middle eastern countries.

Holy Places in Israel

This is a picture of me at the Western Wall in Israel. The Western wall is really religious. Many Hassidic Jews go to the western wall to pray because it is the most holy place in Jerusalem, Israel. Jews are permitted to pray at the Western Wall because it is the holiest place to pray for the Jews. To have a Bar Mitzvah in the Jewish religion is the most important thing. This is a picture of a Hassidic Jewish person having a bar mitzvah in Jerusalem, Israel. The reason why it is so holy to have a Bar Mitzvah in Jerusalem is that it is the holiest place in the world for Jewish people. This is the tomb of King David. The letters in the picture are Hebrew letters. This is in Jerusalem which, is one of the holiest places in the world. David is very important in the Hebrew Bible and is described as the third king of the United Monarchy of Israel and Judah.

I am Darren Feldman, and I love Israeli food

My name is Darren Feldman and I am from Rockville, Maryland. I have been living here for my whole life. I love the weather in Maryland because there are four seasons. Maryland in the summers you can play golf and that is my favorite sport.  Israeli food is so good. Two summers ago I visited Israel for birthright. The food is amazing. Some of the food here is hummus, falafel. Israeli food is some of my favorite food in the world. Also, in Israel, they are known for having the freshest of vegetables. They have really good tomatoes because they are so fresh. I have been to many places in Europe, but I really want to go to Amsterdam. Amsterdam is so beautiful and I cannot wait to get out of the country after Covid-19 gets handled.  Amsterdam has some of the best coffee and I am a big coffee fanatic. Also, I have heard of a very famous drink in Amsterdam, which is called Jenever, which is Dutch gin. I would love to try this drink when I get to this beautiful country.
